What Are Some Of The Kidney Cancer Symptoms?


Kidney cancer can be a very distressing disease. There are many different types of kidney cancer, and this article is written to give you some information in the kidney cancer symptoms you may need to look for if you suspect this disease. Here are some of the symptoms that you need to watch for.

The first symptom is chronic fatigue. Chronic fatigue is a feeling of being overly tired all the time. You may experience a feeling of not being able to do anything that you used to be able to do. Chronic fatigue can last a long time and can be very tiring to the sufferer.

Blood in the urine is another symptom of this cancer. Urine is usually clear to yellow depending on the individual. When a person has kidney cancer the urine tends to change to a rusty red look and blood can appear when urinating. This is another symptom that may indicate kidney disease.

A constant pain in the side can also be the cause of this disease. This pain can go from the side to the back and usually does not go away. This can be an uncomfortable pain that can be severe as time goes on.

Weight loss and fever is another thing you need to look out for. If you have this cancer you may find that you are loosing weight for no reason, and that you will have a fever on and off. As the kidneys are infected your body is having trouble filtering your blood properly causing the weight loss.

High blood pressure can occur in a person who does not experience this normally. High blood pressure usually happens because the kidneys cannot to their job properly in filtering the blood. High blood pressure affects a lot of people but if you suddenly have it when you usually do not, then it may be wise to get it checked.


Another thing that may occur is a mass or lump in your abdomen or side. This lump can be felt and is sore to the touch. While there may be many other causes to this, it still may be wise to get it seen to by your local GP.

These are just some of the symptoms that you may experience when it comes to kidney cancer. If you have one or more of these symptoms then it maybe wise to get it seen to as soon as possible to understand your kidney treatment options. The earlier you can detect it, the better chances you have of beating it.
